Dr. Alellie Sobreviñas is an Associate Professor and Assistant Dean for Research and Advanced Studies at the Carlos L. Tiu School of Economics (CLTSOE), De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Antwerp in Belgium. She currently serves as Associate Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Evaluation, the official publication of the Asia Pacific Evaluation Association, focuses on the promotion of theory, methodology, and practices in monitoring and evaluation. She is also part of the Outreach Team of Communitor+, a dynamic Community of Practice promoting inclusive approaches to monitoring and evaluation. Before pursuing her doctoral studies, she worked with the CBMS International Research Network, contributing to a range of CBMS- and poverty-related initiatives in collaboration with international, national, and local development partners. Her research interests include poverty, international migration, the Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), and development economics more broadly.
