Elsie Kokore

Elsie Kokore is a dedicated young professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable Tropical Agriculture from the Papua New Guinea University of Natural Resources & Environment. She previously works as an Admin/Accounts Officer at Pasifika Auto Parts Ltd, bringing strong expertise in financial management, reporting, and project planning.

 For the past three years, Elsie has been an active member and volunteer with the Morobe Development Foundation Inc. and the United Nations, contributing to projects that advance climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, and environmental education—directly supporting SDGs 13 (Climate Action) and 15 (Life on Land). She also champions gender equality, reduced inequalities, and quality education (SDGs 5, 10 & 4) by engaging women, youth, and marginalized groups in inclusive, community-led initiatives.

With proven skills in proposal writing, budget planning, research, communication, and teamwork, Elsie blends grassroots leadership and academic insight with professional experience, making her a passionate advocate for sustainable and socially just development.
