Eranthi Subhashini, M.Sc. (University of Kelaniya)

Research Professional

Eranthi Subhashini holds a B.Sc. in Biological Science with majoring in Chemistry, Botany, and Molecular Biology & Plant Biotechnology from the University of Kelaniya. She also earned an M.Sc. in Industrial and Environmental Chemistry from the same university, where her research focused on the green synthesis of silver nanoparticles using plant-based materials, their characterization, and evaluation of biological activities. Currently, she is pursuing an LLB at the Open University of Sri Lanka.

She brings around four years of professional experience across academia, corporate, and development sectors. She has served as a Demonstrator at the Department of Medical Education, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya; as an Executive in Group Compliance and Sustainability in the corporate sector; and as a Program Officer for Plastic Value Chain Coordination at RTI International, USAID’s contractor for the Ocean Plastic Reduction Activity (OPRA) subcontracted through The Asia Foundation.
