Joanna Barszcz
Director CWWM AMU
Joanna Barszcz is Director of the CWWM at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She holds master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Anthropology and Cultural Studies from AMU, where she is also pursuing doctoral studies on the social responsibility of science in an international context. Her earlier research and publications explored communication theory in the cognitive sciencesthrough the lens of postmodern philosophy, as well as resilience and chronic stress.
Since 2017, she has worked in AMU’s central administration, first as Specialist for European Programs and, since 2019, as Head of the International Relations Centre. A certified PRINCE2 project manager with over 15 years of experience, she has coordinated more than 50 EU-funded projects in public administration, NGOs, SMEs, and higher education institutions. These include research and R&D initiatives supported by the European Commission (Horizon 2020), the European Space Agency, the European Defense Agency, and educational projects financed by national agencies such as the National Centre for Research and Development and the National Agency for Academic Exchange.
