Sadha Ahmed is a dedicated academic with broad experience in tourism and hospitality education. She holds a Master of Science in Global Marketing Management from Asia Pacific University, Malaysia, and a Bachelor's (Hons) in Tourism Management and Engineering from Taylor University.
Her career began in the tourism sector, working as a Sales and Reservation Agent at Worid Link Travel and later as a Marketing & Student Service Coordinator at Mandhu College. With a strong passion for teaching, Sadha transitioned into academia in 2012, serving as a part-time lecturer at Maldives National University and Cyryx College. Since 2015, she has been a ful-time Lecturer at the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies, Maldives National University, where she develops course materials, revises curricula, and delivers engaging learning experiences tailored to evolving industry needs.
Sadha's academic contributions include presenting research on the socio-cultural impacts of tourism development at the Global Tourism Conference in Malaysia and contributing to the Maldives’ national tourism forecast study during and after Covid-19. She has also served on various university committees, including the Academic Review Committee and Management Committee, and acted as a Student Association (SHATS) Coordinator.
