Sara Dewachter

Sara Dewachter is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Development Policy (IOB), University of Antwerp. She holds a PhD in Political Science from KU Leuven, Belgium. Her research and teaching focus on (political) participation, civil society, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), community-based monitoring (CBM), citizen science, social network analysis, and social protection with a particular interest in cash transfer programmes.

Sara is actively engaged in international, interdisciplinary research and has built strong collaborations with academic and policy partners in countries such as the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Uganda, and Palestine.
